NICS Team
The NICS Neonatology Team consists of a highly-trained and dedicated group of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners with more than 100 years of combined experience. NICS physicians, or “hospitalists,” specialize exclusively in caring for sick newborns and well babies in a hospital environment. They have completed three additional years of training to specialize in the care of critically ill newborns, and are extremely qualified to handle the most complex and high-risk situations.
