6th Annual Highlights Newborn Intensive Care Conference
On January 14 & 15, 2010, NICS welcomed 192 attendees to another successful Highlights Newborn Intensive Care Conference. Every year, NICS sponsors the Highlights Conference, which offers an educational experience to teach the best practices, current issues and latest research in evidence-based medicine, while also providing approximately 14 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to nurse attendees. Conference faculty and speakers represent an impressive group with extensive expertise in neonatal medicine.

Sandra Gardner, R.N., M.S., C.N.S., P.N.P.
Sandra is the Director of Professional Outreach Consultation and has worked in neonatal/perinatal care since 1967 as a clinician, practitioner, teacher, author and consultant. She is Co-Director and Founder of Nurse’s Professional Development and Practice Association, LLC, (NPDPATM), and is the co-editor of the Handbook of Neonatal Intensive Care, 6th edition.
