Pediatric Hospitalists
A NICS pediatric hospitalist provides on-call coverage 24/7 for pediatric inpatient services from birth to 18 years of age. Hospitalists will address illnesses including bronchiloitis, asthma, pneumonia, dehydration, gastrointestinal infection and anemia. In addition to providing immediate treatment to pediatric patients, NICS pediatric hospitalists will act as a liaison between families, sub-specialists and nursing staff to coordinate and communicate with the primary care pediatrician for the ongoing care of a sick child.
