About NICS
In 2000, Dr. Tung Giep founded Newborn Intensive Care Specialist (NICS) to provide critically ill and premature infants with the highest quality newborn care in the industry. What began as a one-hospital NICS partnership in 2000 has grown into a 10-hospital standard of care for critically ill babies.
NICS offers an alternative newborn intensive care service to hospitals throughout the state of Texas. With more than 50 qualified employees on staff, NICS has grown to include multiple partner hospitals developing Level 2 and Level 3 Newborn Intensive Care Units (NICU).
